18 1/2 weeks in...

I'm starting to show...As you can see.

About a week ago I felt the baby move for the first time! It felt like something flicked me with their finger inside me belly! I was really amazing. Since then I have felt the baby move several times. Not at consistent times yet though. About three days ago I felt the baby move so I put my hand on my belly and 2 seconds later I felt the baby move on the inside and the outside!!! It was sooo cool! We are going for an ultrasound on May 5th and there, if the baby shows itself, we will see what we are having! I'll keep you updated!!!

Well...I'm pregnant!!

I'm so thankful that God has blessed me and Tucker with this gift. You see... back in September I was pregnant and had a miscarriage at 7 weeks. Even though this is super common it wasn't easy for me to handle. God taught me a lot about trusting Him and His timing and from that I feel even more thankful for this new life I carry. Lord, let me be the mother you want me to be! Let this child be healthy bring glory to Your name and Your Kingdom!

As for the pregnancy...So far things have been going good. I'm lucky I guess because most people I talk to say that they were really sick when they were pregnant and I've really only been nauseous and tired. Thank the Lord I'm not throwing up!

As for the superficial aspect...I've worked out my whole life to not get fat and now I'm addicted to exercise so I guess that's sorta a good thing. However, pray that I won't be ridiculous about my body image as I get bigger..and bigger...and bigger!!!

Our trip to St John was one of the most amazing trips I've ever been on! I've never been more relaxed in my life! This is a place I would sell all I have and move to without thinking twice and as far as we found out lots of people have done that!

In one of the information packages it says that there is one ass for every ten people!!! Hilarious! I'm sure they're right because we saw a ton of donkeys!!!

Coors Brewery Tour

Rach and Bri were in town and Tucker and I took them to the Coors Brewery Tour!! It was very educational and you get free beer!!! Bri drank root beer! We're not that crazy!! heheh! It was a blast and my cousin Brandon came too with a few friends!!! So worth the trip!!

Family pic without all the family. Brett and Lindsey didn't come because it was too cold or some lame reason like that and Shane and Jackie's fam are in Virginia. I thought as you got older the family was supposed to get bigger, not smaller.

It was a quick trip because I had to get back and coach my 9 year old coed bball team and Tucker had homework! We fit it in and even had time to get a pic together!

Oh, it was sooooo beautiful!! I love the snow and the mountains!!!

Eagles Alumni Game 09

Now, it's not in my bones to lose to the younger team and we pulled it off but, man, did we suck wind!!!!! It was great to see familiar faces and catch up with everyone!

The boys they did differently this year. There were two alumni teams that played each other and the winner played the high school team. The older team lost to the younger alumni team, which was a posh, and then the younger alumni lost to the current team. The older alumni team had of course my brothers and Tucker. It was a bad deal because the refs were bad and thats really what lost the game. Frustrating. Ah well. Next year boys!!!!

Christmas 09- yeah so I'm late again!

I love my family!!!! We had a great Christmas that we celebrated on Christmas Eve because Brett, being a firefighter, had to work on Christmas Day!

The whole family wasn't all together but we still had a great time!

Someday.

We did all our Christmas traditions. Opened stockings, read Luke 2, ate cinnamon rolls, opened presents, ate chicken fried elk steak with mashed potatoes and gravy, yum, and then played with our toys!!! Then that evening we went to the Christmas eve service at Faith! They had the cutest little girl sing! She was amazing and not scared in front of all those people! It was great! How come we do the same traditions every year yet we never get tired of them!!!?

Last time they both got an elk Jimmy's was bigger than Tucker's but not this year!!

This was after we moved the elk. It had slid down a steep mountain about 250 yards or so (I'm bad with distances!)

It was a total God thing that we got this Elk! We were late getting on the mountain and had been hiking only about 20 min. Tucker saw some elk ran up the hill with me behind him, I hit the elk call, the bull turned and Tucker took the shot! The rest is history! Thank you Lord for the organic meat and pretty antlers!

Motorcycle Trip with Dad

This was a blast!!! Dad rode down the Gallup, NM where I was doing a study for work and picked me up! We rode up to Farmington, stayed with Uncle Bob and Ann, and then headed home! We went over Wolf Creek Pass which was amazingly beautiful!! We had a blast but since we had to get back home we couldn't stop at the scenic overlooks. The result was a sore bum!!! We'll have to do it again someday when we can stop and rest our bums and enjoys the views!!!! Thanks DAD!!!

We just went hiking in Evergreen when Rachel was visiting! Afterwards we ate some great pizza at Beau Jo's!!! Then we went to the lake! So Tucker and I had this great idea to ride up the mountain on the 4-wheelers camp and then pack up again go further and camp again. This idea got shot down within the first 30 minutes of our ride!!!! We got up to Webster pass and it started to snow (yeah, no joke. It's July and it started to snow). So... we decided to make a fire to see if it would pass. Tucker got it started then went to find more wood. Meanwhile, I'm keeping it going blowing on it and such. Then the wind whips the fire around and it comes up in my face and singes my eyelashes and gave me more bangs. I had to pat it out!!!! aaahhhh!!! so the storm wasn't passing so we decided to set up the tent and camp here. The wind is crazy and we can get the poles to stay. One flys up and hits Tucker in the shin, then he turned around and a pole came and hit him in the mouth. I was mad that the tent was flying away and I didn't know he got hit in the face. So I went over to him and was like "Tucker you have to hold the pole!" His reponse was "I got hit in the face, and look, I lost a tooth!" I looked at his mouth, blood all over, and said, "honey, two of you teeth are chipped not just one and you have a huge blood blister!!" Anyway, the pictures of the event are below!!! We decided to just ride the next day and then go home. We had our fill!!!! It was fun but more than that is makes for a good story!!!

These are the most beautifuls kids I have ever seen! (I imagine the only kids more beautiful to me would be my own)

I love them more than anything in the world. My heart just melts when I see their precious faces and when they say my name! I love it when Annalee and I argue who loves each other more! I love it when Avery asks where everyone is by saying each of their names. I love it when Shelby gives her michevious smile and when she sings as loud as she can!!! I can't wait to see how Reece grows up with 3 sisters!

They mean so much to me and I cherish the time I get to spend with them. I'm so glad I was able to see them in May! The moments are few but very special!

I went to Gallup NM for a children's nutrition and vascular health study for work. While we were there we were able to enjoy some of the sights and hikes!!

We went to Richardson's Trading Post. It was amazing what the Navajo can make!

We camped near Jefferson. It was beautiful but a little chilly since it was May.

Glen Erie- Spring Break 09

Well, Spring break wasn't much of a break for me since I'm out of school but my mother provided us with a free stay at the Glen Erie Castle. I have a lot of fond memories of having tea at this castle but never stayed there. Tucker planned this surprise for me since I was wanting to be able to see him a bit over the break (since he started at mines I don't see him much...always studying) Upon our arrival this is the first thing we saw! As you can imagine, Tucker already liked this place!!!
And we saw more...

Here's the room we stayed in. It had a lot of character and nice antiques! It was a really fun trip! I'm so glad Tucker suprised me! It was a much needed time together! I have a great husband!

We didn't go to this rodeo last but we went the year before. It has grown a lot. There were more than 10 people in the stands, there were probably around 100! We had a good time even though only one guy stayed on the bull for the bull riding. Westernaires was boring as usual. One girl had a helmet under her cowboy had...She was probably high risk!

Our first home!

This year was great! It was a lot different than other years because it was only 6 people and no friends. However, it was a lot more relaxing. We got to read, nap, ski, wakeboard, surf, hike and eat whenever we felt like it. Cooking for 6 is a lot easier than cooking for 20 and the cleanup is a lot easier but we missed everyone and hope that everyone can make it next year!

This game was pretty chilly. It was one of the first games of the season in April. Tucker and I sat way up high while chad and brett sat about 20 rows behind the plate. However, after about 3 innnings no one was sitting where brett and chad were, so, brett asked the person checking tickets if the rest of his family could come sit with them. He said ok, so then tucker and I got to sit with brett and chad 20 rows behind the plate! it was great!
