Got a big one!

Hanging out by the fire enjoying the last night of the hunt with ringing in our ears, blood on our hands, meat for the year, and a big trophy to take home.

Nana and Papa

If this isn't redneck I don't know what is...Mary rigged up their generator to deep fry some chicken fingers!! Yum they were good!!! (with a little exhaust taste, hehe totally joking Mary!!)

Who won this year?
Last time they both got an elk Jimmy's was bigger than Tucker's but not this year!!

If you can hang a ring on it you can count the point!

This was after we moved the elk. It had slid down a steep mountain about 250 yards or so (I'm bad with distances!)

This was where we moved it from!! Oh man was he hard to move not only because he was so heavy but because he was stuck between these logs.

Their first pose!!! What a nice Bull!

The Landing.

The first pic!
It was a total God thing that we got this Elk! We were late getting on the mountain and had been hiking only about 20 min. Tucker saw some elk ran up the hill with me behind him, I hit the elk call, the bull turned and Tucker took the shot! The rest is history! Thank you Lord for the organic meat and pretty antlers!
